The Transformative Impact of My Anti-Drug Campaign

Empowering India's Youth

My diligent speeches against drug abuse coupled with wide coverage by print, visual and air media has been making a positive impact on the youth of the country. My strategy has proved to be a success in taking youth out of drug abuse hell even without a rehabilitation process. This has been effective in many National Institutes, particularly in hostels. Top Medical, Engineering and Arts & science Institutions of the country preferring my presence annually in their premises are the visible impact of my articulation on the subject.

My social service has contributed to the reduction in the Economic cost of rehabilitation of the drug addicts indirectly by preventing the youth from falling prey to drug abuse and addiction. When the cost of rehabilitation of drug addicts’ increases exponentially my preventive measures certainly contribute to the exchequer and thereby building a healthy and productive youth workforce. I have created a huge youth force of ambassadors against drug abuse of which the majority of them are medical students. This creation of an educated professional base will go a long way in promoting a healthy India as these medical students are going to be the health care pillars of our country. My priorities in reaching out to medical institutions, where the majority of the youth are female, will ensure not only healthy family units but also a healthy society as I believe that enlightening one female person is equal to enlightening one family. I have brought awareness to millions of youth through my lectures in over 300 institutions and government departments all over India.. My mission of a drug free India was very well captured and recognized by the press and media of our country which aided in the accomplishment of bringing awareness to the masses. I sincerely believe that my speeches have inspired students to stay away from the use of drugs and has made a long lasting impact to refrain from using the illicit drugs. Also, I was able to capture the attentions of the students all through my lecture and connect with them on a grassroots level in order to plant my noble idea of a drug free India which contributed to the nation building activities. With the most numbers of 10-24 year-old, India has the world’s largest youth population as per the report of UN’s Population Fund, I am confident that this awareness will go a long way in saving the younger generation from falling prey to drug abuse to make India an economic super power by reaping the demographic dividends.
